Fishing Report, Ice Fishing

Thursday ‘Ready For The Weekend’ Fishing Report!

We honestly wish we had much better news, but we don’t. With another near record high in the upper 40’s/low 50’s, we can’t recommend to anyone going out on the ice of the main body of Devils Lake right now, even the extreme back bays, it is just too dangerous.

You would probably be fine out on Alice and Irvine if you know where the open water spot were last week, but again, we wouldn’t promote it.

If you are dead set on going, stay relatively close to shore and by all means, go with a friend or two. We had 7 inches of decent ice up there today:

The Walleyes weren’t really active and we only managed these two, a 14 and 17.

Hopefully, as temperatures drop tonight and tomorrow, we can get back to some ice making.

Good Luck out there!
