Fishing Report

Just Needed 1, But I’ll Take It

Another Day of Quality Over Quantity

Yesterday’s search was pretty dismal, not much to show for it except for a 36+ inch Pike and 3 eater Walleyes, in 3 different random spots. With one guy in tow, I went to where we had fish two days ago and at the beginning yesterday.

While they weren’t crazy active it was just enough to keep us interested and we spent the better part of the early morning either missing fish or watching fish that wouldn’t bite. As the morning went on, we managed to land a couple, and our confidence started to grow a little bit.

Off that he next spot after 5 passes and we were rewarded with a couple good ones, and we spent almost the rest of the morning in that spot.

Everything was just over 20 feet of water, and I feel that the descent into 20-30 has started to happen with all of this heat.

3 spinners got all of our fish today, 2 very similar ones and one ‘other’.
