Wednesday Weekly Ice Conditions: March 12, 2025

Day-To-Day To Be Honest

Every year, roughly this time, it becomes a day-to-day situation with the ice conditions. The end is definitely on the horizon. How much longer we are able to go out onto the ice sheet is up for debate. Our last day on Monday, before we had to get to our taxes, the ice sheet was very porous, and honey combed. We had a temperature dip on Tuesday and Wednesday, and we witnessed several groups out on the ice so am assuming it is still stable for the time being. Problem is, we have a warmup today and tomorrow with another dip on Saturday and Sunday.

We have snobear trips scheduled for Monday through Friday, whether we are able to fulfill those trips remains to be seen, we will keep you updated as conditions change.

Good Luck out there!
