Started Out Slow
But Really Picked Up!
The morning started out a little slow, had 3 good ones but weren’t seeing what we thought we would, so we changed locations. That was a total bust, so we made another move and…
Yahtzee!!
Entered into the zone where the fish were both there and active. We got to #19 pretty quickly and then they just quit. The last one took a while, but we ended up with 20 and were headed to the shore!
We were in 20-30 feet of water in both spots, and I would say that we landed between 50-60 Walleyes, pretty standard for this time of year.
This Summer has been nothing short of extraordinary in terms of both numbers and overall size. We keep waiting for the fish to get significantly smaller but that hasn’t happened yet, hopefully they hold of for about another month!
