Feeding Whiteys = Feeding Fish!!
Some People Leave/We Set Up Shop!!
When some people catch a few White Bass, they move on, thinking that is all that they are going to catch. When we get on a White Bass bite in the winter, that is when I set up shop.
Feeding Fish = Feeding Fish
I can’t honestly count the number of times lit up Whiteys turned into a Vexilar Christmas Tree of feeding Perch. Feeding fish or fish activity of any kind draws in other feeding fish and Walleyes and Perch will willingly come to a White Bass frenzy. On one of our eruptions today, a hooked Perch resulted in a 9-foot eruption of White Bass that lead to more feeding Perch.

Any lure with white on it for most of the day, particularly that Wonderbread Buck Shot; The Gold Varmint landed some towards the end. Minnows over spikes for the majority of our fish.
We are off the ice tomorrow, our next offering after these will be Saturday evening at the soonest.
