Bite Window Small But Intense

East Winds Are Never Good

But They Gotta Eat

A lot of things were working against us today:

  • East wind
  • Wind change overnight
  • Storm to the north of us

Never a good situation for a good bite, but we had to go anyway so might as well make the best of it, and in our 2nd and 3rd spots we did. We had about half an hour where the fish were very, very active and that is when we had to make hay. 9 of our 12 fish came in that time frame and a whole bunch of misses. After that bite window closed, it was done for us.

One can never emphasize how important being in the right place at the right time can be. For about half and hour, we were there!

Less than 30 feet of water, spinners, worms!

Good Luck out there!
