Had To Be Just Right

To Shallow…Nothing But Pike

Too Deep…Nothing

Water temps have come up substantially and that has made the Pike very active, the walleyes a little better; not great but better. No wind yesterday and light winds today is probably what cost us our limit. Had 2 really good ones on for 2-3 cranks of the handle and they got off. Has so many follow-up Walleyes that it was very frustrating.

Less than 10 feet of water but not by much, cranks won the day by far.

Water was 57 at the beginning and it ended at just over 62 when we left the water. Getting into that ideal zone very quickly.

Good Luck out there!
