Blown Off…But Not Before…

What If’s…

I hate dealing with ‘what if’s’, but in fishing, there are a lot of them. In this cane, what if we didn’t get blown off the water and our trolling motor ended up dying on us. I am guessing I would have gotten the last 2 but 3 between 19 and 22 inches is still pretty good for this early in the year.

Strikingly Few Pike

One of two things is going on:

  • A. Pike numbers are way, way down
  • B. Pike are in that dormant, post-spawn funk

Whatever the story, it is kind of refreshing to know that when you get a bite, 95% chance it is going to be a Walleye.

Again, less than 10 feet of water and plastics.

Good Luck out there!
