There’s Snows…
There’s Pike…
And open water fishing is just DAYS away!
On years when there really is no run-off to peak of and there isn’t a Walleye run up in the coulees, a guy can still find things to do before the open water. There will always be pike in those same coulees, sometimes by the 100’s. There are also snow goose opportunities, and to be honest with you, open water fishing is actually only days or even hours away, depending on the wind direction.
This morning, we were scouting for snow geese and fishing all at the same time, and while we didn’t really find any geese, we did find a couple of pike in a very short period of time.
