Trouble On The Horizon!!

Hope It’s Cloudy

Sunday and Monday are going to be a pivotal day for our ice fishing for the 24-25 season. If it’s sunny, and it gets to 50 for two days in a row, we might be kissing our ice season goodbye. If it stays cloudy and doesn’t have a chance to get too warm, we might be ok. It is all going to depend on Sunday and Monday for the rest of the year.

The ice itself is now white. It hasn’t degraded at all, it is still firm, and we are actually pretty good to go that way, come Monday, it will probably be day-to-day.

Fishing hasn’t picked up a whole lot but if you can get to double digits, you are having a wonderful day. That is our benchmark, double digits.

Good Luck out there!
