Hope, A Light At The End Of The Tunnel!
We had a really good day a few days ago and another one. Perch are starting to come around and at least there is some hope of a bite instead of going out there with not a prayer. It is going to be a basin game for the foreseeable future. That is both a good and bad thing. There is no structure to base your search on but if you are willing to do a lot of drilling to get on them, then you are in luck, we have the fishing trip for you!

Seems like this is the biggest debate at the moment. Minnow head -or- Full minnow -or- spikes -or- Perch eye -or-……
Seems like when they are fired up like they were 3 or 4 days ago, anything that would drop down fast would do, buckshots with minnow heads and you were golden. Yesterday and today, not so much. They just would not bite, unless you had a full minnow and tungsten, mostly on a dead stick. We start every day with a buckshot and minnow head with optimism and then downsize from there, been doing quite a bit of downsizing lately!
