BUT…

We Managed A Few!

When good fish go ‘bad’ or ‘negative’, fishing on the Big Devil can get darn tough. And that is how it was on the main lake today. We started off the morning by marking quite a few fish that were very, very negative. Wouldn’t come up no matter what we did. The only way we could manage bites was if there were multiples and even then, they were few and far between.

We tried Varmints, Buckshots, Coffin Spoons, and eventually Tungsten. We never did really find the right combo. Right when we thought we had it figured out, it quit working.

But like I said, we managed a few, and tomorrow is another day.

All fish were caught in under 30 feet of water and the best lure was the Varmint.

Good Luck out there!
