Fishing Report, Ice Fishing

Thursday Update

10-11 inches To The West

8-9 In The East, So We Are Getting There

Starting to get some good ice thickness out there, had our 1st almost a ‘Foot’ yesterday and saw 10-11 inches today. Now this was on the western portion of the fishery, so the eastern side is going to be 3-5 inches thinner but coming close to that foot mark is a good sign.

It is my understanding that a Quad went through on Irvine today, so you still need to be cautious but my last two days on the ice have been in the Snobear. I don’t see any big warm-up so we will probably be in it until ice out.

We never had a big flare up today, just singles and doubles (mostly singles) but a lot of the fish that we marked bit. Less than 20 feet of water today and it went in spurts.

Good Luck out there!
