Fishing Report

Monday Weekly Fishing Report: Aug. 12, 2024!

About Time To Change Over

From Fins To Feathers!

Ok, so it’s not like it just comes to an end today. It is more like a slow bleed, but with Early Canada Goose season opening on Thursday, we will slowly be transitioning to feathers over fins. We still have a few guide trips over the next couple weeks before we go strictly all feathers.

Fishing the last week started off decent but by Thursday, that massive cold front had taken hold, and it seems to still have a strangle hold on the fish. Monday through Wednesday were above average, after that I would classify as poor to terrible. The fish are there, we had marked quite a few that just didn’t want to bite.

They will come around, hopefully over the next few days, in the meantime, we will be working on blinds and decoys ver the next couple of days to try to get ready for the opener on Thursday, going to try to get out Wednesday for a little bit and maybe Thursday afternoon and then a guide trip on Saturday.

Good Luck out there!
