Fishing Report

Sunday Funday!!

What A Couple Of Weeks!

The fish have definitely been on the feed these last couple of weeks; rain or shine, calmer blow, they have just been biting.

They have been a tad deeper, in that 20-30 foot zone as compared to 15-20 feet a couple of weeks ago. That old shoreline has been vital in finding out fish, that old white line signifying the old shore is where we are starting the day and then just moving a little shallower or a little deeper until we find the honey spot and then just keep pounding it until we have our fish.

Early is better than mid-morning and by 11 o’clock if you aren’t just a few fish short you might be out of luck. We have been trying to get on the water by 6 or 6:30, so for you late risers, well, not much I can tell you but you might be out of luck.

Spinners Still The Way To Go!

We have been on a pretty impressive spinner bite the last couple of weeks, and that should continue into August. The water is getting a little warmer so they will be going a tad deeper but you should still able to get them with spinners. Lead core will also start to factor into the equation as well as those fish get deeper.

Good Luck out there!
