Know there was and is the possibility that the big blow tomorrow and Thursday might keep us off the water for a couple of days, so it was imperative that we put some fish on the cleaning table.
And we did, oh boy did we!
They came in spurts but when the wind died a little bit, they bit. When the wind came up, we couldn’t buy a bite. So, we basically wasted time pitching, wearing out our arms until it died a little, and then bang, bang, bang! Even had a double pitching cranks. My two clients were a joy to fish with and they got the job done today.
Every day on the water is s good day, days on the water when you smack ’em pretty good is just altogether better!! We were in less than 10 feet of water and the water clarity was absolutely perfect.
Crank baits again, and 3 colors were decent but 1 color was by far the best. Ended the day with all 3 rods having the same lure on it.
We tried bobbering for a bit while my guys rested their arms a little and had ZERO bobbers down.
The water is warming, no reason not to…
