Just troubles With The Perch!
Walleyes aren’t an issue, but cornering those pesky Perch has been an issue. The abnormally warm early winter has many on the lake scratching thier heads and at times we are one of them. Aside from a few very intense flurries here and there, we find ourselves still searching.
So far, shallow had kind of been a theme with both Walleyes and Perch, under 25 feet of water. We should be finding decent numbers of Perch going a bit deeper, but that just hasn’t happened yet.
Our two previous days of struggle bus. After the initial early morning Walleye bite, the late morning and middle of the day had been nothing but frustration.
Three days ago, our intense flurry was a thing of beauty, what every Perch fisherman is looking for, we will be searching for more of those tomorrow!!
