Thursday ‘Ready for the Weekend’ Fishing Report!

Was Actually A Really Tough Bite Today!

We were super shallow today, under 20 feet of water, and at times even shallower. My morning didn’t go as planned and we were stuck with 1 at about 10 o’clock. Scramble time and we started to move and started to mark some fish but not many bites. Then we got on a spot and started getting some hits and managed to make the day respectable.

Minnow heads were the bait of choice as we were on a part of the lake known for Walleyes and Big Perch.

Even got a few on a full minnow.

Two days ago the White Bass had put on the feed bag and they were uber active, they are sure fun through the ice. Having your Mom and Aunt with made it all the more enjoyable.

Perch bites in deeper water are a lot of fun, can’s wain until we can get onto more water that is fishable to make these the norm.
