Today Was TOO Quick
But We Will Take It!!
Got up early and went, was off the water by 7:30. Quickest trip of the year. The school of white bass was stacked up 9 feet high, if you could get to the edge of them or get through them it was nothing but Walleyes. I was pulling spinners and was on fish right away. There was ZERO time to do anything else but reel in fish, never seen it so stupid!!
As soon as I reset the one rod and put it in the rod holder, I was turning around to reel in the other one!
We knew this summer was set up to be a pretty good year, but we never, ever thought it would be this good. Fishing on Devils Lake has been nothing but AMAZING!!
You can still get quite a few fish with Cranks, or Bobbers, or Plastics; bit when the spinner bite is on, it is hard to forgo it. Just so many quality fish.
