Wednesday Ice Report and The Fishing!!

To Much Snow/Lots Of Ice

Oh, Some PERCH Too!!

Well, to say there is still a lot of snow would be an understatement. The good news is the slush is pretty much gone again with these sub-zero temperatures, but then again, we are having sub-zero temperatures and it seems like this winter will never end. Add to that, the fact that we are forecast for another snow event and the Winter of 2023 goes on and on and on and…..

Luckily, the Perch are cooperating, and we go on another Walleye excursion tomorrow before we have a weekend off with my kids.

Our fish today were in that 30-34 foot range and we went back to a spot we had not been for about a month, pleasantly surprised to see quite a lot of fish in 3 areas. My fishing partner got his with a full minnow and Tungsten, while I stubbornly stayed with a minnow head and Gold Varmint. I was on fire right away but when they went a little negative, the tungsten definitely won the latter part of the day.

Good Luck out there!
