New Year, Similar Cold Front Results

Not Fired Up/But Catchable Numbers

Shallow water is still the way to go for the most part, but we did mark some fish deeper as well and managed to catch a few in 30+ feet of water.  We were in depths of 16-20, 23ish, and 33ish feet of water.  All of these schools that we were on today were extremely mixed with some being the 5-6 inch variety all the way up to the 11-12 inch variety.

Minnow heads attached to Orange/White VMC UC Buck Shots and Pink/White Buck Shots were the most effective lures.

Being able to land fish with temperature dipping to 20 below and hanging around the negative teens all day, we will chalk it up as a pretty good day!

Good Luck out there!
