The featured picture for this report was taken about 15 yards off the shoreline at the Dion Road at North Six Mile. Walked about 1.5 miles out onto Lake Alice this morning and all ice was between 4.5 and 6.25 inches thick. Only problem is the water is the color of mud. Really muddy. One cannot see the bottom of the 4.5 inch hole. Needless to say there was not much fish activity, we will need to wait until those sediments settle before it really picks up.
The water clarity was much better on the North End of Six Mile Bay at the Dion Road. Could easily see the bottom of the hole. Good new on Alice is I would feel 100% confident bringing my snowmobile out there the next time I go.
