‘Other Species’ Will Return Next Week, What DLFR Has To Offer!
When we set out on this endeavor, it was our goal to make catching fish on Devils Lake available to the average fisherman that came to Devils Lake. We wanted to be able to turn a FISHING day into a CATCHING day for everyone that launched a boat on the Big Devil. Things have grown quickly for us here at DLFR and you, our audience, has grown faster than we could ever have dreamed.
We have gone through some growing pains and have experimented with many things. Some have worked out wonderfully, others have been so-so. We continue to try to serve you, the Devils Lake fisherman to the best of our abilities.
Time waits for no man!
That is our number one obstacle and something that we combat daily. Some days we wish we could push that sun back up into the sky for just a few more hours. Getting valuable minutes out of every hour is a scheduling nightmare at times.
We are constantly gaining new viewers everyday and we would like to welcome all of you that are coming to us for the very first time. We have also retained a substantial regular audience and we appreciate the attention every one of you gives this little fishing information center on the web.
We have a lot to offer here and sometimes I think some of our features get overlooked as some of you have maybe missed the launch of one of these features or weren’t a viewer when the feature launch occurred.
Allow us to present to you the gambit of features that DLFR has to offer to:
Turn Fishing Into Catching…
With…
DevilsLakeFishingReport!!
Membership Has Its Privileges!
The basis, and what makes DLFR possible, is our attention to record keeping of any and all fishing excursions on Devils Lake. We have pages upon pages of information from all of our fishing trips logging hundreds, even thousands of hours searching out the best bites we can find on the Big Devil. We do so to make ourselves better fishermen. We have made that fishing record keeping available to you thorugh purchase of Waypoint Packages, Weekly Waypoints, and occasionally an Elite Report.
One no longer has to report in to the site everyday in order to not miss something.
If you fish Devils Lake on a regular basis, we have just the thing for you; Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Copper Memberships.

Historical Waypoint Packages
Devils Lake is a transitional lake. The fish migrate to and from regular areas on the lake at certain times of the year due to many factors i.e.: water temp, weed growth, ice thickness etc. Our record keeping allows us to offer you bulk waypoint packages that can put you in those transitional areas at the appropriate time of the year. You can access these packages in two places, either in the Waypoints Catalog or in the Waypoint Bundles sections from our main menu.
Real-Time Weekly Waypoints
Monday is our main Weekly Fishing Report day. This is the day that we feature all of the waypoints that we have logged from the previous week and is the best place to access the most up-to-date ‘Fishing Into Catching’ information. Purchase of the weekly waypoints is not necessary as we offer enough information in our weekly report to get you on fish, but, if you really want to get on them, the Waypoints from each week will get you right on where we found them and the report will inform you as to how we got them to bite.
Waypoint Catalog
Once we have featured a set of Waypoints in a report both Walleye and Perch Alerts and in the Weekly Report on Monday, they get logged into our Waypoint Catalog. If you have been away for awhile, you can check up on locations you may have missed by accessing the Waypoint Catalog and scrolling through what we have posted. They are chronological for your convenience and a picture will accompany them so you know what to expect from that area.
Email/Messenger/Instagram/Text
This is a feature that we never dreamed would be as busy as it has been for us. We graciously field any and every inquiry form both customers and non-customers who just have a simple question or inquiry about the fishing on Devils Lake. We try to answer every inquiry as thoroughly as possible without hurting our cause. You can reach us in a number of ways and we are almost always connected to one of those mediums in order to get back to you as soon as possible.
We hope you can find what you came here for in what we offer. We want everyone that comes to Devils Lake to have a wonderful experience.
We are here to provide you with a service, we want to allow you to…
Guided Trips
Some want a little more, some want the V.I.P. treatment. We can offer this. DevilsLakeFishingReport has entered the Guide Business and even though that is not our focus, we will bring you along on a Walleye and Perch search and experience The Big Devil in the exact same way that we experience. We believe we off a little different experience than other guide services. We limit our trips to only a few a week as w our main focus is exploration and find that new gold mine, that new fishy area. To book a trip, you can call us at 701-351-6416, email us at [email protected], or book online in our Open Water Guided Trip page.
