Ice Report 3-25-17/ Plus 2 Perch Spots

Went On With Ease Today

Got on the ice again this morning quite easily.  Did hear of a report of a truck going through at the access at Grahams Island so we would say that that area is 4 wheeler or side by side only.  We can tell you that if you are coming with wheelers, atv’s of any kind, or sleds you will be just fine.  We drove our trucks today and with the temperatures not reaching anywhere near forecast, we plan to tomorrow as well.

We found some fish and want to make those available.  The first spot is from north six mile and while usually we wouldn’t sell a spot that frustrated us so much, just the fact that one of the Perch we caught was a PIG and there were several very large marks on the Vexilar that we couldn’t get to go, we felt that if you wanted to try for a real Super Mega Jumbo we would give you the opportunity.  They were in 28-30 feet of water and wanted the Gold Varmint very still, no movement or they went running.

The other spot is out by the Casino and this is a super large school.  They were super active on a Gold Varmint in 41 feet.  A couple small eyes were collateral damage as they wouldn’t have survived.  They were super active I should say until the wind picked up and then they were matted to the bottom.  We plan on attacking this area tomorrow and suggest that if you are out there fishing, you give it a try.

Good Luck out there!

Hold On To Your Rod…
